Though Walter Leslie may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Walter Leslie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Paul Crider, Sr. and Ethel Whitehead Crider; his wives, Marian Anderson Crider and Barbara Hoffman Crider; his close friend Joanne Slocum; his daughter Marian Leslie Humpherys; and his siblings, E. Paul Crider, Jr., Sallie Ryan, Louisa Culpepper and Katie Davis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Anne Sandfort (David), Susan Crider of Raleigh, NC, Mary Mackenzie of Durham, NC and Lucy Stephenson (Kyle) of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
