Walter Joseph Psoter Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on December 11, 2025, at the age of 74, Walter Joseph Psoter of Durham, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Walter is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Walter's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Psoter and Rosemary Psoter (Salka); and his son-in-law Robert Grote. He is survived by: his children, Jodi Psoter of Beaufort, NC, Karla (Jeremy Soja) and Kevin Psoter (Christina Schumacher); his brothers, Carl (Susan) and Eugene; his siblings-in-law, Paula (Michael) and Lawrence (Jean); and his friend Maria Lucia. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
