She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Coleman and Bonnie Davis Taylor; her husband David Wayne New; and her half-siblings, Becky A. Burgess and William L. Burgess.
She is survived by: her daughter Crystal Blackwell Roberts (Kevin) of Bahama, NC; her grandchildren, Chloe and Dalton Roberts; her half-sister Barbara B. Jeffries; her nieces, Tammy J. Rowsey, Tina J. Wilkins (Randy), Wendy J. Batten (John) and Jennifer L. Jeffries; her former husband James L. Blackwell (Cathy); and her significant other Neil Clifton.
