He is survived by: his wife Vira Lamm; his children, Dianne Carter (Tony) and Brian Burnett (Sharyn); his grandchildren, Meagan Garvin (Matt) and Braxton Dean (Ashley); and his great grandchildren, Turner Garvin, Charley Garvin, Elsie Dean and William Dean.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's research, such as the Alzheimer's Association.
