He was predeceased by: his parents, Beuford Vincent Ferrell and Lillie Hicks Ferrell; his wife Gertrude Calvin Ferrell; and his son-in-law Paul Stanley. He is survived by: his children, William Ferrell Jr. (Espe), Freddie Ferrell, Cindy Stanley and Jennie Bowling (Robert); his grandchildren, Tyler Stanley, Morgan Carpenter (Andy), Hannah Bowling and Weston Bowling; his brother J. A. Ferrell (Susan); and his pet Blackie.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Tally Ho First Baptist Church (1692 Sanders Rd, Stem, NC 27581). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at the same location.
Flowers may be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to Tally Ho First Baptist Church's building fund.
