He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayborne Stone and Helen Stone; his wife Eleanor Stone; his son Steven Stone; his brother Randy Stone; and his grandson Ben Chambers.
He is survived by: his daughter Sherry Stone; his siblings, Kenny Stone (Becky) and Carolyn Stone Briggs; his sister-in-law Teresa Stone; and his grandchildren, Clint Chambers and Misty Hunt. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hudson Funeral Home (211 S Miami Blvd, Durham, NC 27703).
