He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio "Tony" Vierra and Eloise Ward Vierra; his grandparents, Frank and Bonnie Ward; his wife Phyllis Cartner Vierra; his daughter Stephanie Ann Vierra; and his sister Arbutus Ann Gadd.
He is survived by: his son William "Billy" M. Vierra, Jr. (Tammie); his grandchildren, Amber Pippin (Tim), Bradley Szolnoki and Matthew Szolnoki (Mackenna); his great grandchildren, Sebastiano and Finnegan Szolnoki; his sister Meleta Hunter; his nieces, Janet Hunter and Lisa Reaves (Darrell); and his cousin Deliah McClure.
