She was predeceased by : her mother Helen Denning Partin; her husband Harvey C. Sorrell, Jr.; her sons, Harvey "Peanut" Sorrell and David Sorrell; and her siblings, Danny, Freddie, Robert Lee Partin, Charlie, Calvin, Robert Carden, Priscilla and Sylvia Stefanek.
She is survived by : her children, Eddie Sorrell of Durham, NC, Donald Sorrell (Diane) of Timberlake, NC, Rachelle Sorrell (Amy) of Durham, NC and Debbie Foell (David) of Georgia; her sister Jane Carden-Tago; her grandchildren, Jason Davidson (PJ), Chris Sorrell (Jen), Brittany Johnston (Jon), Morgan Sorrell, Josh Wilson (Melissa), Patrick Wilson (Crissy) and Jason Wilson (Heather); and her great grandchildren, Addison Davidson, Rylee Davidson, Carson Davidson, Hannah Evans, Chase Sorrell, Carter Sorrell, Bentley Johnson, Emerson Johnston, Justin Wilson, Jacob Wilson, Chesney Wilson, Cadie Wilson and Aidan Wilson.
