She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyndon Zachary and Bertha Williams Zachary; her former husband Robert Owen Carter; and her sister Doris Mabe. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Owen "Bob" Carter, Jr. (Danielle) of Pinebluff and Zachary Clark Harris "Zach" of West End; her grandson Zachary Christian Harris; and her great grandchildren, Foster Reed Harris and Ainslie Elizabeth Harris.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Eagle Springs Baptist Church (460 Eagle Springs Rd, Eagle Springs, NC 27242).
