Walter Scott Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter Scott (Eagle Springs, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 2, 2026 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Scott and Ella Moore Scott; his grandson Austin Tanner Scott; his daughter-in-law Cindy Scott; and his sisters, Kathleen Abdo, Betsy Hussey, Geneva Dunlap and Juanita Maness.
He is survived by: his significant other Betty "Muriel" Scott; his children, Gayle Maness (Garry), Brantley Scott and Bradley Scott (Tina); and his sister Judy Burns. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
