It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rick y Fosness of Earl, North Carolina, born in Rugby, North Dakota, who passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Fosness and Alida Fosness (Ness); and his brothers, Leland, Kevin and Kerwin.
He is survived by: his significant other Shelly Bullert of Northwood; his children, Lauren Swearson (Steven) of Towner, Mandy Fosness and Logan Fosness of Bottineau; his grandsons, Connor, Kane, Barrett Swearson, Pierce Fosness, Chance and Emmitt Goulet; and his sister Kathy Brown (Al) of Rugby. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
