It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ricky Alan Fosness of Earl, North Carolina, born in Rugby, North Dakota, who passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Fosness and Alida Fosness (Ness); and his brothers, Leland, Kevin and Kerwin.
He is survived by: his significant other Shelly Bullert of Northwood; his children, Lauren Swearson (Steven) of Towner, Mandy Fosness and Logan Fosness of Bottineau; his grandsons, Connor, Kane, Barrett Swearson, Pierce Fosness, Chance and Emmitt Goulet; and his sister Kathy Brown (Al) of Rugby. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (107 4th Ave SW, Towner, ND 58788). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
