He was predeceased by: his parents, James Montgomery and Martha Lovenia Williard Pendry; his wife Rachel Wall Pendry; his great grandchild Kipton Ray Jester; and his siblings, Fern Pendry Hunter, Minnie Matthews, Levie Reece, Dessie Sainz, Ruby Mathis, Nell Caudle, Paul, Joe, Clint, Howard and Ernest Pendry.
He is survived by: his children, Dana Jester (Tommy), Denise Smitherman (Charles "Pete"), Bentley Pendry (Belinda) and Rodney Pendry (Jan); his grandchildren, Nathan Jester (Kimberly), Drew Jester (Mandie), Ashley Miller (Travis), Miranda Hines (Dylan), Trevin Pendry (Katie), McKenna Pendry, Austin Pendry (Hannah) and Jensen Scott (Michael); and his sister-in-law Wilma Hoots. He is also survived by canine companions.
