It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Harold Cayton of East Bend, North Carolina, who passed away on March 10, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Cayton and Lessie Jones Cayton. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Harrell-Cayton; his sons, Bernie Cayton (Amanda), Chris Cayton and Shane Cayton; his grandchildren, Nora Bullock (Trenton), Christian Cayton (Jessica), Elizabeth Cayton and Robbie Cayton; his great grandchildren, Penelope Joyce Bullock, James Michael Cayton and Cassidy Marie Bullock; his stepdaughter Lisa Harrell; his niece Emily Aycock; his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Hinnant (Donnie), Kathy Key (David) and Vernell Aycock; and his friend Frank Williams.
