He is survived by: his wife Libby Riggs Martin; his sons, BJ Martin (Hannah), Cody Martin (Carolyn), Chad Martin and Chevy Martin; his grandchild Sky of Hailey, JT; and his siblings, Gina Johnson (Rick), Dana Martin and Todd Martin (Renee).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the building fund at Solid Rock Baptist Church at 3448 Pilot View Church Rd, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
