He is survived by: his wife Patty Hennings Davis; his grandsons, Adam Davis and Jed Davis (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Stephen Gray Davis, Landon Gray Davis, Charlee McWatters and McKenzee Davis; his siblings, Carolyn Hicks (Foy) and Richard Davis; and his sisters-in-law, Greta Church, Linda Hauser and Brenda Hauser. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gentry Family Funeral Service (428 E Main St, East Bend, NC 27018). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Gentry Family Funeral Service of East Bend (428 E Main St, East Bend, NC 27018).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Jude's, or Shriners Children's Hospital, or the Disabled Veteran's Association.
