It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Derrick Rodney Kimbrough (East Bend, North Carolina), who passed away on October 8, 2022, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Kimbrough and Juanita Jarrett Kimbrough; his grandmothers, Ruth Jarrett McLaurin and Mary Alice Kimbrough Hawkins; and his great-grandparent Laura Glenn.
He is survived by: his son Tyreise Kimbrough; his siblings, Michall Kimbrough (Teresa), Angela Kimbrough, Charles Kimbrough (Gloria) and Maria Harris (Bryon); his aunt Carolyn Phillips (William); his niece Shanta Kimbrough; and his close friend April Skeens. He is also survived by great nieces, many cousins.
