She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Spillman. She is survived by: her son Adam Lane (Lynn) of East Bend; her siblings, Thomas Spillman of Yadkinville and Ruth Spillman of Galax, VA; her grandson Takota Jared of East Bend; and her friend Gray Lane.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice.
