With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Messick Marler (East Bend, North Carolina), who passed away on June 7, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Messick and Willie Mae Hendrix Messick; her husband William "Bill" Marler; and her siblings, Phoebe Smith, Patsy Phillips and Donnie Messick.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Jones (Dwain), Eddie Marler (Patty King) and Rita Caudle (Darrell); her grandchildren, Kelli Myers (Brandon Doub), Stephanie Draker (JD) and Colton Jones (Lauren); her great grandchildren, Nick Myers, Mazie Jones and Jack Draker; and her siblings, JoAnn Day, Dickie Messick (Fran) and Gerald "Bo" Messick (Debbie).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 516 Hawthorne Drive, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
