He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Sapp and Mabel Carpenter Sapp; his son Larry Wayne Sapp, Jr.; his grandchildren, Samantha Sapp and McKanna Young; and his brothers, Thomas Dancy and Don Sapp.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Jones Sapp; and his children, Tanya Young, Chad Pipes (Daisy) and Scott Pipes (Jennifer). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
