He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Johnson and Lessie Waddel Johnson of East Bend; his siblings, Opal Louise Johnson, Hobert Johnson (Maizie), Ervin Johnson and Ernest Johnson, Jr.; and his nephew Danny Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Hutchens Johnson; his son Jeff Johnson (Denise); his grandsons, Jacob Johnson, Caleb Johnson and Grayson Johnson; his sister-in-law Carol Jean Johnson; his nephew Scotty Johnson (Kathy); and his nieces, Tammy Johnson (Tony) and Tina Dutrow (David).
