It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxie Brann Dixon of East Bend, North Carolina, who passed away on December 27, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Wade Eugene. She is survived by: her husband Michael P. Dixon, Sr.; and her children, Myra Dixon Smith (James) of East Bend and Michael P. "Mike" Dixon, Jr. (Rebecca) of Black Mountain, NC. She is also survived by several cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Baptist Childrens Home, PO Box 338, Thomasville, NC 27361.
