She was predeceased by : her parents, Clifton Matthews and Vernie Lineberry; her daughter Michelle Poplin; and her siblings, Lillie Beane, LulaBelle Chambers, Gladys Hardy and Buck Matthews.

She is survived by : her sisters, Frances Jeune, Ruth Beane and Jenny Marler; her grandchildren, Cassandra Adams (Ryan), Kayla Stanley, Tyler Pruitt and Christopher Wolfe; and her great grandchildren, Cody, Jameson, Colton, Bentley, Oakley, Emory, Jessie, Bella and Liliana. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
