He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jenkins and Pauline Farris Jenkins; his grandson Mark Zanzarella; and his sister Janice Roney. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Jenkins; his children, Earlene Jones, Tracy Gilley (Michael), Wendall Nunn (Cindy Kiser) and Kevin Nunn (Jenny); his grandchildren, Jake Zanzarella (Gabby), Annie Jones (Matt), Lindsay Sheek (Kenneth), T. J. Gilley (Susanna Macfarland), Chasity Falls, Savannah Clark (Evan) and Kaitlyn Cass (Logan); his great grandchildren, Sophia Falls, Aubrey Falls, Rylee Falls and River Mae Clark; his sister Rachel Jenkins; his sister-in-law Marietta Jenkins; and his niece Karen.
