She was predeceased by: her husband Richard "Rich" Murphy; and her siblings, Paul, Grady Hennings and Ruth Wooten. She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Phillips (David) and Heather Russell (Brent); her grandchildren, Courtney Page (Tony), Austin Phillips (Dina), Jacob Russell (Megan Ayres) and Ethan Russell (Olivia); her great grandchildren, Raylee Page, Rhodes Phillips and Mae Marie Russell; her brothers, Alvis Hennings (Jane) and Joe Hennings (Annette); and her sister-in-law Peggy Hauser (Larry).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Stony Knoll United Methodist Church or to Mountain Valley Hospice of Yadkinville.
