He was predeceased by: his wife Pat; his parents, Paul Douglas and Minnie North; and his siblings, Ann, Jane, Junior, Joe and Dallas.

He is survived by: his son Thomas Lee Douglas Jr. of East Bend; his brother Frank Douglas of Pfafftown; and his close friends, Vickie and Eddy Hennings of East Bend. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Mt. Valley Hospice-SECU Hospice Care of Yadkinville.
