Veona Mathis Cornelius Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Veona Mathis Cornelius of East Bend, North Carolina, who passed away on April 2, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Glenn and Hazel Joyner Mathis; and her siblings, Glenda M. Combs, Leroy (Mickey Cornelius), D. C. (Faye Cornelius) and Allen Cornelius.
She is survived by : her husband Kenneth "Kenny" Cornelius; her daughter Amy (Lynn Snow); and her nephew David Lee Combs. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews, cousins, and numerous friends.
