He is survived by : his wife Shelby Money Pettyjohn; his children, Lynn Pettyjohn, Lisa Williams and Lori Pettyjohn; his granddaughter Erica Williams; his brother Arlis Pettyjohn (Faye); and his cousins, Homer Wilhelm (Rosa), Annette Burcham, Rosa Emma Honeycutt, Howard Wilhelm (Sandra) and Carolyn Burton (Sammy).
