Yvonne Mae Forbes Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Yvonne Mae Forbes of East Bend, North Carolina, born in Mercer, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 22, 2024 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by : her parents, Wade Lightner and Mabel Hart Lightner; her husband John Forbes; her siblings, Harry Lightner, Jim Lightner, Helen Wireman, Esther Klein, Martha Shipton and Dorothy Beatty; her granddaughter Crystal Watterson; and her great grandchild Angel Porterfield.

She is survived by : her daughters, Marjorie Sutton (Jeffery) of East Bend, Luann Gottula (John) of Mercer, PA and Teresa Caldwell of Sharon, PA; her sister Joann Bancroft of Florida; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Sutton (Christy), Michael Sutton (Kelly), Jennifer Thompson, Jason Thompson, Greg Watterson and Travis Richards. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; and six great great-grandchildren.
