She is survived by: her children, Hazel Griffin of Winston-Salem, Mary Katherine Hale of Eden, Sallie Ruth Hale of Eden, Shirley Terry of Eden, Patty Hampton of Eden, Addie Sue Hale of Eden, Issac Hale, Jr. of Eden and Robert Hale of Eden; and her nieces, Thelma Sonnier (Sherman) of Conroe and LouAnn Adams of Martinsville, Virginia. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.
