He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Charlie" Herman Wray, Sr. and Ruby Cruise Wray; his grandparents, Payton "Pete", Alpha Cruise, Jim and Alie Tilley Wray; his sister Susan Wray Fretwell; and his aunts, Evelyn Vernon, Dorothy Cruise and Vergie Shively.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Eddie Fretwell of Little River, SC; his nieces, Allyson Roney (Michael) of Burlington and Teresa Wetherby (John) of Salisbury; his great-nieces, Taylor Corum (John), Mykenzie Wilson (Christian) and Amanda Ferber (Daniel); his great-nephew Adam Peacock (Abby); his aunt Lucy Cruise Bradford of Eden; and also, Paisley, Carson, Gracie and Emily. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
