She is survived by: her children, Tim Vernon of Eden, Wanda Price of Reidsville, Sue Smith (Danny) of Eden and Mark Vernon of Eden; and her sisters, Vera Vernon of Reidsville and Minnie Carter of Eden. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
