He is survived by: his mother Mazie Hairston Murphy; his children, Paulette Dillard Cook (Carlos) of Greensboro, Markese Dillard of Axton and Maurice Hampton of Cascade, Virginia; and his brothers, Anthony Murphy (Darcia) of Stoneville and Kevin Williams of Axton, Virginia. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, other loving relatives, and many cherished friends.
