It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Debra Horton (Eden, North Carolina), who passed away at the age of 68, on August 1, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Lee and Odessa Manuel Thompson of Rockingham County; her siblings, Bobby Lee Thompson and Delores Thompson Edwards; her parents-in-law, Benjamin and Dorothy Horton; her brother Phil; and her sister-in-law Laura Watts.
She is survived by: her husband Myron Horton; her daughters, Rebecca Horton, Virginia Mayberry (Matthew) and Nancy Horton; her brother Wayne Thompson (Lisa); her brother-in-law Roy Edwards; and her grandchildren, Gabrielle Conol, Virginia Mayberry, Zachary Conol and Harrison Parker Mayberry. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, great nephews, many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fair Funeral Home Chapel (432 Boone Rd, Eden, NC 27288). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
