He is survived by: his mother Catherine "Kitty" Harris Matthews; his daughter Leslie Hailey; his grandchildren, Jewel Vaughn, Landon Vaughn and Kendall Hailey; his great grandchildren, Kehlani Dalton and Anya Hensley; his sister Rinda Matthews Loftis (Kenny); and his sibling's children, Brandon Loftis (Josie), Crystal Matthews (Eric), Bryant Pinnix and Sierra Pinnix.
