With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frank Edgar Elske of Eden, North Carolina, born in Washington, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Frank Edgar may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Frank Edgar touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Elske and Carl Elske; and his siblings, Karen Petersen, Annie Roush, Marilyn Johnson and Charles Elske.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Elske; his daughters, Amy Nance (James Nance Jr.) of Stoneville and Pam Elske-Leonetti (David Leonetti) of Hickory; and his granddaughter Emiley Nance of Stoneville.
