She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hiram Rodgers and Melinda Beulah Rodgers; and her husband Robert Clyde Smith. She is survived by: her sister Mary Rodgers Nichols; and her sons, Jerome Michael Smith (Glenda), George Early Smith, Robert Clyde Smith, Jr. (Cindy) and Jeffery Allen Smith (Teresa). She is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and large extended family.
