He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman L. Coe and Annie Coe (Roberts); his daughter Shelley Richie; and his brother T. David Coe. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Coe (Hopper); his grandchildren, Amber Richie (Tyler Wilson) of Winston-Salem and Logan Richie (Summer White) of Stoneville; his great grandchild Ava Wilson; his mother-in-law Lucille Hopper of Blacksburg, S. C.; and his sister-in-law Judy Edwards of Harrisburg, N. C.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
