He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobson Curtis Watkins and Angeline Gilley Watkins; his wife Edna Earle Harvey Watkins; and his daughter Melissa Watkins Starr. He is survived by: his son-in-law Brett R. Starr of Portsmouth, VA.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorial donations be made to Trinity Wesleyan Church in Eden, NC in Huey's name.
