He was predeceased by: his former wife Joan Griggs; his parents, Mary Alma Price and Russell G. Citty; his brothers, R. Price Citty, Robert B. Citty, Judson C. Citty and John O. Citty; and his grandson Wills H. Citty.
He is survived by: his sons, Jonathan Derrick Citty and Ryke Griggs Citty (Kim); his granddaughter Avery Ward (Mike); his great grandchild Sophia; his grandson Rylan Citty; and his wife Margaret Petty.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Epiphany Columbarium (538 Henry St, Eden, NC 27288).
The family suggests memorials be made to the Citty Family Scholarship Fund at Rockingham Community College, 215 Wrenn Memorial Road, Wentworth, NC 27275.
