She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Jimmy" Price Garrett Jr. and Darnelle Hall Garrett; and her grandparents, Raymond, Mary Ella Hall, James and Mary Kathryn Garrett.

She is survived by: her sisters, Mary Beth Garrett Slaughter (Lee) of Stoneville, NC and Lorri Garrett Crotts (Travis) of Cleveland, NC; and her nieces and nephews, Logan Willis of Cleveland, NC, Claire Irving of Stoneville, NC, Ryke Willis of Cleveland, NC, Wyatt Irving of Stoneville, NC and Carter Crotts of Cleveland, NC. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Rockingham County Animal Shelter, 250 Camp Cherokee Road, Reidsville, NC 27320.
