She was predeceased by: her father John William Mills; her husband L. H. Sheffield; and her siblings, Harvey, Marvin "Buddy" Mills, Frances Hunt, Grace Mills, Margaret Mayer and Hazel Pulliam.
She is survived by: her sibling's children, Wayland Pulliam and Marylynn Brown (Courtney Brown). She is also survived by grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
