She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. A. W. Reeser; her parents, David R. Hopkins, Sr. and Gartha Pitchford Hopkins; and her brother David R. Hopkins, Jr. (Ruth C. Hopkins). She is survived by: her nephews, Jefferson T. Hopkins (Mary Ann) and David R. Hopkins, III (Melissa); and her niece Amelia H. Mayhew (David). She is also survived by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews and her great-great nieces and great-great-nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (3901 Forest Lawn Dr, Greensboro, NC 27455).
