She was predeceased by: her parents, Granville Clark and Everall Hardwick Burdon Sewell; her husband Rev. Warwick Aiken, Jr.; her brothers, Dr. Granville Hardwick Sewell and John Burdon Sewell; and her grandfather James Witt Sewell.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Warwick Aiken III (Janet C. Aiken) of Pawleys Island, SC and Everall Aiken Peele (Stuart) of Eden, NC; her grandchildren, Michael Warwick Aiken (Amy), Marianne Eugenia Peele Pilson (Brent) and Stuart Aiken Peele (Janelle); and her great grandchildren, Ethan Gabriel Peele, Tyler Robert Peele, Elise Everall Pilson, Lily Anne Eugenia Pilson, James Wesley Pilson, Sarah Elizabeth Aiken and Leah Marianne Aiken.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Luke's Episcopal Church (604 Morgan Rd, Eden, NC 27288). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial gifts may be made to St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
