He was predeceased by: his cousin Oscar Pereda Morelos. He is survived by: his parents, Adan Pereda Carrera and Gloria Juan Quintero; his wife Angelica Mendoza; his children, Nicole Pereda, Jordi Pereda and Dannia Itzel Pereda; his granddaughter Victoria Rojas Pereda; his grandmother Josefina Quintero Bautista; and his siblings, Goycoche, Teodoro, Abundio, Rudy, Angeleta, Gloria and Genoveva Pereda Juan.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 316 Boone Rd, Eden, NC 27288. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at the Highland Burial Park.
