With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nora Ella Wilson Tolbert (Eden, North Carolina), who passed away on July 21, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Willis Wilson and Janie Barker Wilson; her husband Dock Tolbert; her granddaughter Rhonda Ferrier; her siblings, Geneva Martin, Ralph Wilson, Daniel Wilson, Allie Payne, Roy Wilson, Joseph Wilson, Muscoe Wilson, Ilene Morton and Marlyn Estep; and her son-in-law Jimmy Ellis.

She is survived by: her children, Ronald Tolbert (Ruth) of Suffolk, VA, Judy Ellis of Axton, VA and Jerry Tolbert of Morehead City, NC; her grandchildren, Pamela Hanback (Don), Jamie Ellis (Pam) and Elizabeth Ellis; her great grandchildren, Nicholas Roberts, Tyler Ferrier, Dessie Roberts Juliet Kinsley (Bobby), Maxwell Ferrier and Montgomery Ellis; her great great grandchild Jaliek Terry; and her sister Sarah Quessenberry of Martinsville, VA..
