Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rebecca Mae Johnson of Eden, North Carolina, born in Axton, Virginia, who passed away at the age of 75, on October 17, 2023. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charlie Boyd and Adele Boyd; and her brother Hodges Lee Boyd (Geneva). She is survived by : her daughters, Reba Lindsey of Eden, NC and Penny Lindsey of Virginia Beach, VA.; and her siblings, Ardell Manns (Jesse), Jack Boyd (Linda), Gina Nicholson (Danny), Dennis Boyd (Janice), William Boyd (Judy), Clifton Boyd (Lisa) and Priscilla Artis (Alvin). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and close family friends.
In honor of Rebecca's memory, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Barry L. Joyce Local Cancer Support Fund in Madison, NC, or Pandas Fight Against Cancer in Virginia Beach, VA.
