He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Franklin Seal and Fannie Woods Seal; his son Roger Seals, Jr.; his grandsons, Joshua Pennell and Roger Seals, III; and his siblings, Dorothy Barker, Ann Dillon, India Seal, Calvin Seal, Frank Seal, James Seal, Larry Seal and Brad Seals.
He is survived by: his wife Hilda Burchell Seals; his children, Tammy Pennell and Samuel Seal; his grandchildren, Emileigh Seal, Jeffrey Seals (Cierra), Kayla Pennell and Christian Graves; his great grandchildren, J. J. Seal, Jace Seal, Aria Graves and True Pennell; his siblings, Carl Seal (Nancy) of Eden, Rachel Christley of Madison and Linda Clark of Eden; and his daughter Susie Brown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
