It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Samuel Eugene Benton of Eden, North Carolina, who passed away on October 1, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Ray and Rozella Ayers Benton, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Benton (Saul); his son Samuel Elliott (Christie Benton) of Eden; his grandchildren, Dawson and Peyton Benton; and his nephew Lee Benton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County.
