He was predeceased by : his father Samuel Thomas Collins; his brother Samuel Walter Collins; his grandparents, Daniel Walter Case and Vera Elizabeth Alford Case; his stepgrandmother May Williams Case; and his grandfather Leonard Thomas Collins.

He is survived by : his mother Myrtle Case Collins of Eden; his daughters, Christina Colbert of Dothan, AL, Alexandra Collins of Greensboro, Evangela Dillon of Stoneville and Payton Nicole Silvers of Stoneville; his grandchildren, Lincoln Michael Bisaccio of Dothan, AL and Lizzy Mae Dillon of Eden; his brother Barry Collins of Eden; his grandmother Vera Elizabeth Jordan of Lynchburg, VA; and his aunts and uncles, Amanda Case, Malinda Wall, Lynn Case, Diane Schabinger, Charles Walter Case, James Wall, Tommy Jordan, Timmy Jordan and Bruce Schabinger.
